MUSIC2BIZ guarantees its customers that all tracks used in the music flat rates are royalty-free:

• No GEMA fees. Quality doesn't have to be expensive. The music playlists are fair and affordable, and the music is 100 % royalty-free.
• No AKM fees. The playlists are also available for Austria 100 % AKM-free.
• No SUISA fees. High-quality background music for retail locations in Switzerland, 100 % SUISA-free.

All titles have been reviewed in this regard. Corresponding written declarations are available from all music suppliers (musicians and producers).

Legally secure use of GEMA-free music

MUSIC2BIZ has written clearance declarations from the musicians for all music tracks licensed as royalty-free. The GEMA clearance declaration names the composer of the music track and confirms in writing that the music track is not subject to GEMA fees.

A confirmation of the GEMA exemption is made available by MUSIC2BIZ to all customers for the regular reviews carried out by the GEMA.

This confirmation is important because GEMA generally assumes that every music creator has concluded a contract with GEMA. As long as a user cannot prove otherwise, GEMA assumes that GEMA fees must be paid.

The MUSIC2BIZ confirmation of the GEMA exemption serves as proof during on-site inspections that the subscribed music flat rate is royalty-free and the user therefore does not have to pay GEMA fees.

What are GEMA, SUISA, AKM?

Collecting societies such as GEMA (Germany), SUISA (Switzerland), and AKM (Austria) handle the legal procedures required to protect the copyrights to the works of many music creators. However, they represent only the copyrights of their members. Music creators are not required to be members of these organizations. They can also grant licenses for their works themselves and collect a licensing fee for them. The music is then designated as “license-free” or “SUISA-, AKM-, or GEMA-free.”.

Royalty-free music in this sense can be subscribed to on the streaming service MUSIC2BIZ. These subscriptions have the advantage that subscribers can reduce their music costs through fee savings.

Royalty-free music playlists

The MUSIC2BIZ standard radio program can be expanded with curated playlists. Each playlist has been compiled by music editors for specific industries.

All standard music programs are license-free, meaning they are free of AKM, GEMA, and SUISA fees. All tracks have been verified in this regard, and written declarations are available from all music suppliers.
